INTRODUCTION

CORPORATE STRATEGY AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE (CoSComm)

Established on the 1st October 2014 through the merger of Corporate Planning Division and the Marketing and Communication Office.  CoSComm was formed to manage the corporate strategy and communications by giving priority focus to the university's agenda and strategy.

The CoSComm office structure is divided into Strategic Planning Division and Corporate Communications Division.

The Strategic Planning Division is responsible in the Strategic Management, Marketing Intelligence, and Risk Management.  While the Corporate Communications Division is looking after the Corporate Communications, Marketing and Branding.

CoSComm organization is headed by a Director, two Deputy Directors, two head of Divisions, and four head of sections.

In general, CoSComm is producing the Strategic Plan Document, University key performance indicators report, University rating report, information management, risk management, continuation services management, value management, UPM main website page management, protocol, management of university official events, media relationship, crisis management, visitors management, institutional memorandum of agreement, publication of Tribun Putra newsletter, and information management in social media.

CoSComm is dedicated to provide excellent services in order to assist UPM towards achieving the University with International reputation and strive to bring UPM in the top 200 university in the world through PUTRA Global 200 initiatives. In order to achieve this goal, CoSComm will provide effective Corporate Strategy Management and to expand the Corporate Communication outreach beyond boundaries.
